Frequently Asked Questions
DOES IT HURT
Treatment is a very relaxing experience. Most people are surprised to learn that acupuncture is very relaxing & painless, and Toyohari style acupuncture is one of the gentlest and most effective forms of treatment available. It is so gentle that babies and children are often treated using our specialised Toyohari techniques. Often people feel a sense of calm and well-being during the treatment itself and immediately afterwards.
HOW DOES IT WORK
Acupuncture utilizes specific points on the body which act as gateways into the body’s energy system. These points allow the practitioner to correct imbalances and restore harmony not only to the specific area affected, but also the body as a whole. Acupuncture can be used to help strengthen a person’s natural healing ability, to speed up recovery from disease and as a preventative measure to protect one’s health.
